Number three in the Dutch music series and this week Andre Hazes is in the limelight. Yes, I know what you are thinking... he's dead isn't he? Well, yes he is. He died from a heart attack in September 2004, much to the dismay of many in the Dutch population. To be honest though, not the biggest surprise to hit the music world - he wasn't generally the healthiest bloke you could meet - an alcoholic by all accounts and a smoker.
Andre Hazes sang what is essentially a kind of folk's music, and to be fair he was incredibly popular in this genre but ironically never had a number one hit in the Dutch Top 40 until after his death when he topped the chart with a rerelease of "Zij gelooft in mij".
